Ayurveda elucidates the do's and don'ts one has to follow, which favours the well-being of each individual to lead a healthy, happy, comfortable and advantageous life physically, mentally and socially. Ayurveda also emphasis the adage, 'prevention is better than cure'.

        Thus Ayurveda means the knowledge of life.This system of treatment is 5000 years old. This system has a holistic approach towards the diseases.
Ayurveda uses Herbs, Minerals & Metals in the preparation of medicines. Over 3000 plants are documented in ancient texts and the molecules derived from these herbs are used even in modern medicine.
These herbs can be classified into Aromatic herbs, Cosmetic herbs, Herbal food, Herbal oils and Herbs with therapeutic value, which are used in manufacturing cosmetics, food supplements and medicines. However each herb has more than one use.
